José Sempere
"Sempere is, at present time, the only tenor able to recall the memory of the great artist Lauri-Volpi [...] Sempere has an innate sense of artistic honesty, always giving the best of himself, without retracting from anything, without phrases nor tricks to alleviate himself in difficult passages." Andrés Moreno Mengíbar, Diario de Sevilla, 13.04.2003. Source, photo: iberkonzert.com.
