In 1998 I started playing around with the idea of creating a web site with biographies on a limited set of historical tenors. I had found myself browsing the Internet in search of information on various tenors, but the information was scarce and it was a long, time consuming and exhaustive process. The idea of gathering all these fragments under one single site emerged and I started working on Grandi Tenori.com.

Initially it was just a simple hobby, but today it gathers a bundle of tenor and opera enthusiasts from all corners of the world and the Forum is a meeting place where members exchange opinions and experience. And debate.

Part of the aim nowadays is also to encourage young singers through a certain exposure at the site, talented young people who otherwise may lack projection. If we can help only a handful, a lot has been achieved.
